Leudelange
Jean WEBER was born in Leudelange in 1822. His father was a Förster.
Jean made his maréchal ferrant apprenticeship outside of Luxembourg (see below) and subsequently returned to Leudelange.
Together with his younger brother Dominique, Jean invented a novel plough. The two brothers filed a patent application on 14 March 1849 as co-inventors.
After examination they obtained a patent on 9 October 1849.
The WEBER brothers left Leudelange and each established his own workshop, Jean in Reckange-sur-Mess and Dominique in Sandweiler.
It is not known when and where Jean WEBER died.
