WEBER Hermann François

Hermann WEBER was born in 1852 in Olschöwen, Angerburg (East Prussia). His father was a Mühlenbauer. Hermann followed in his father’s footsteps as Mühlenbauer, which qualification probably brought him to Luxembourg in the early 1880s.
He lived in Steinsel and in 1883 he married Josephine KAUFFMANN, daughter of an Ackerer of Hollerich.
He carried the title of Ingenieur when he filed his first patents in Luxembourg (1884,1886). In 1895 WEBER resided in Kleinbettingen.
He ran a business as ingénieur-constructeur (moulins et machines).
In 1897 the couple WEBER-KAUFFMANN separated, Josephine KAUFFMANN having requested and having been granted Gütertrennung.
It is not known when and where WEBER died.
