Nicolas WAGNER was born in 1875 in Schwanenthal (Hunsdorf/Lorentzweiler) where his father was a Müller.
In 1884 his mother died, his father remarried, but he died in 1892. Nicolas WAGNER was an orphan at the age of 17.
The WAGNER family left the Schwanenthal mill sometime before 1895.
Around 1900 Nicolas WAGNER became resident in Remerschen and in 1902 he married Anna KIEFFER from nearby Schwebsange. His occupation was Hufschmied.
In 1904, still living in Remerschen, he applied for his first patent in Luxembourg. He subsequently moved to Luxembourg-city where he set up a Fabrik für “Patent-Sparbacköfen und Räucherapparate“.
Nicolas WAGNER died in 1956 in France.
