TANSON Rodolphe

(1927 - )
Eupen/Liège (BE)

Rodolphe (Rolf, Rolphe, Rudolf) Ferdinand TANSON was the son of Jean Pierre TANSON. He was born in Eupen on 2 May 1927. He was probably recruited by SECALT when the latter company was founded in 1948 by Pierre MEDAWAR and Jacques ARIZZOLI in Luxembourg-Grund.
From TANSON’s first patent it can be seen that he resided in 1948 in Luxembourg, probably with his parents.
Rodolphe TANSON’s name appears again in 1960 in various patent databases when he assigned a patent to “Greifzuggesellschaft für Hebezeugbau m.b.H., Bergisch-Gladbach”, a company associated with SECALT.
In 1965 TANSON appears to have resided in Paris although he also used a Luxembourg residence at the time (Luxembourg-city, boulevard Patton).
TANSON finally settled with his family in Moutfort, Luxembourg around 1970. He filed his last patent application in 1979 and assigned it to “Europe Levage Manutention (EMA)”, a French company also associated with SECALT.
