ROESER-STORCK Bernard

Bernard ROESER was born in 1871 in Wellenstein. His father Joseph ROESER (1826-1896) was a Hufschmied. Bernard was the last child in a row of nine children.
In 1909, at the age of 38, he married Marguerite HECHELS (1881-1917). Her father was a Gastwirth in Schengen.
In 1912 the couple ROESER-HECHELS was reported to be running their own café in Wellenstein.
Marguerite HECHELS died in 1917 and Bernard married Anne STORCK in 1922. He called himself forthwith Bernard ROESER-STORCK. Bernard and Anne carried on the “café” business.
When Bernard died in 1933 his death announcement referred to him as cafetier et commissionnaire en vins.
