MAMER Jean
(1807 - 1851)
Septfontaines
Jean MAMER was born in Septfontaines in 1807, son of Georges MAMER, journalier.
In 1824 father MAMER, however, took over the local mill by the name of “Follmühle”, which he converted from a Lohmühle to an Oelmühle. He was presumably joined there by his son Jean, as suggested by the first available census of 1843, which shows that Jean MAMER was married to Susanne HOFFMANN from nearby Kehlen.
The couple had settled in the mill and son Jean and father Georges were earning their living as huiliers, Oelmacher.
Jean MAMER died in 1851 in Septfontaines.
