LAVANDIER Emile

Emile LAVANDIER was born in Mondercange in 1885 where his father was a „Schreiner“.
He received his secondary education at the Diekirch „Gymnasium“ and qualified as engineer at the „Polytechnikum Karlsruhe“ in 1911. His first job was in the steelworks of Hagondange.
In 1916 be became chief engineer in the steelworks of Duisburg and in 1919 he joined the HADIR steel works in Differdange as chief engineer, in charge of machinery and maintenance. Finally in 1925 he advanced to Assistant-Director of HADIR.
LAVANDIER died soon after, in 1926, at the age of 41.
