KLEIN Charles

Charles KLEIN was the son of Jean KLEIN, born in 1879 in Niederfeulen, and Marguerite ANGELSBERG, born in 1890 in Bürden.
In 1919 Marguerite ANGELSBERG opened a Handarbeits- und Merceriegeschäft in Ettelbruck and in 1920 she married Jean KLEIN. The business took on the trade name of KLEIN-ANGELSBERG.
Charles was born in Ettelbrück in 1921.
During WWII Charles was forced to join the NAZI army and to take part in the battle front of Russia. Charles returned from Russia at the end of the war and took over the family shop in Ettelbruck in 1948.
He married Andrée BOHR, born in Luxembourg-city, with whom he had three children. The couple, however, divorced in 1975.
Charles KLEIN died in 1988.
