DREES Michel

DREES was born around 1878 in Elvange/Bürmeringen, son of Jacob DREES, Landwirt.
He studied at the Athénée in Luxembourg-city and became an engineer.
DREES was a shareholder and manager of the “Comptoire industriel” Steinfort founded in 1921. The company’s object was:

fabrication et vente de toutes espèces de marchandises en verre.

AT least from 1921 to 1935 he resided in Elvange and in 1940 he resided in Luxembourg-Merl, 17 Hubertusstrasse.
In 1942 he married Marie van BRAGT of Thionville. She was running an épicerie in Basse Youtz (Thionville).
DREES died in Luxembourg-city in December 1944, aged 66. He had no children.
