BARTH Jean

Jean BARTH was born on 21 March 1816 in Luxembourg-city, one of the 13 children of Jean BARTH and Catherine PAQUET. His father Jean was a vitrier and the family lived in 61 rue des Capucins.
Jean BARTH junior married Catherine FRISINGER in 1843 and they also had 13 children. Catherine was the daughter of a boucher in 199 rue St Philippe.
BARTH jr was a ferblantier in the city of Luxembourg. He lived first in 283 rue du Fossé, followed by 227 rue du Fossé (1849) and 5 rue des Charbons (1857) and finally moved to 2 rue Guillaume.
He was a successful craftsman.
Jean BARTH died in 1890 in Luxembourg-city (2 Pastor’s Gasse).
