AUSTGEN Jules
Julius AUSTGEN was born around 1903 in Saarland.
In the early 1930s he was Bauunternehmer in Fraulautern (Saarland).
In 1932 he was accused of fraud by a Court in Saarbrücken. He fled from Saarland to nearby Alsace but, upon an extradition request from the Saarland, he was arrested in Strasbourg.
The Saarland request was debated before a Court in Colmar, but AUSTGEN was discharged and released. His French patent n° 768536 played an important role in his release (see Addendum).
AUSTGEN’s places of residence, as revealed by his patents, are the following:
1933 France (Bas Rhin)
1935 Luxembourg
1936-1951 Saarbrücken
AUSTGEN thus resided in Luxembourg only in the year 1935.
It would appear that he was an independent technician.
