PONCIN François

François Louis PONCIN was born in Luxembourg-city (570 Breydenweg) on 25 August 1792, son of a marchand-fayencier.
He became a tourneur de bois and lived in 385 rue de l’Eau and later in 376 rue de l’Eau.
Later in life he switched to using horn and became tourneur de corne (Horndrechsler).
He was married twice, first to Angela PIRSCH (in 1817) and subsequently to Catherine FRANÇOIS (in 1827). He was father of 9 children.
François Louis PONCIN died in Luxembourg-city on 5 November 1876, at the age of 84.
