Pierre KEIFFER was born 1905 in Bettembourg as son of an Eisenbahnarbeiter/Weichensteller.
In 1927 he registered a company in his own name, the object being:

génie civil, architecture et publicité

His occupation was ingénieur civil.
On 10 May 1940, at the age of 35, he left Luxembourg for France, ended up in a concentration camp in Spain, and finally joined the Brigade Piron in the UK.
He was badly wounded in the Normandy invasion and joined as a volunteer in the Britisch sanitary corps.
After WW II, KEIFFER came back to Luxembourg.
In 1946 he was a victim of an aggression and badly hurt, he was described as a Soldat and as “zu 70% Kriegsinvalide” … .
He was married to Alice SCHONS (b. 1920). The couple married probably in the late 1940s and had one child.
In 1963 the couple KEIFFER-SCHONS founded the Ligue H.M.C.
Alice SCHONS died in 1979, wen she was a widow.
Pierre KEIFFER probably died in the 1970s.
