WEBER Dominique

Leudelange
Dominique WEBER was born in Leudelange in 1824. His father was a Förster.
Dominique made his maréchal ferrant apprenticeship outside of Luxembourg (see below) and subsequently returned to Leudelange.
Together with his older brother Jean, Dominique invented a novel plough. The two brothers filed a patent application on 14 March 1849 as co-inventors.
After examination they obtained a patent on 9 October 1849.
The WEBER brothers left Leudelange and each established his own workshop, Dominique in Sandweiler and Jean in Reckange-sur-Mess.
Dominique WEBER died in 1889 in Sandweiler.
