RICHARD-BARTHEL Jeanne (veuve)

Jeanne BARTH was born in 1814 in Luxembourg-city. She was the daughter of a vitrier.
In 1935 she married Jean RICHARD, born 1807 in Luxembourg-city. Jean’s occupation was serrurier. The couple lived in n° 177/178 rue St Philippe where Jean had established his atelier.
Jean RICHARD died in 1849 and Jeanne continued running the business which became known as Veuve RICHARD-BARTH.
In March 1855 Jeanne BARTH (Schlosserin) married Pierre WIESENBACH (Schlosser) in Arlon.
Their first chid was born two months later (June 1855) in Luxembourg-city, but in 1857, when the couple’s second child was born, they resided in Arlon.
It has not been possible to determine what happened to the Veuve RICHARD-BARTH Luxembourg-city business after 1856.
Jeanne was still reported living in Arlon in 1884 when her daughter Marie Elise got married there. Jeanne BARTH probably died in Arlon.
