ANEN Jean Pierre

Jean Pierre ANEN was born as Peter ANEN in Kopstal in 1862. His father was a Wegewärter (road supervisor).
In 1888 he married Catharina NILLES, born in Burange (Dudelange) and joined her there. His occupation was Schmied (blacksmith).
He had nine children, all born in Burange.
In April 1904 ANEN obtained a patent for a “potato harvester plow” and in 1905 he presented his design at the Exposition universelle de Liège. He was rewarded a médaille de bronze.
Jean-Pierre ANEN died in Burange in 1921.
